Midway House is a lovely riverside walk away from all the attractions on offer and presents a first class bed and breakfast guest house option in a pleasant and quiet suburb of the city. Midway House is a charming late Victorian villa, modernised to incorporate 12 guest bedrooms. All are spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
A flexible range of accommodation options are available, from en suite double, twin and family rooms to a single and double with shared facilities, ideal for those on a limited budget.
Ground floor rooms are available and for the ultimate in romance there is a four poster room too. Individual floral touches and chocolates can be arranged.
Tariff starts from £38 - £44 per night for a standard single room, up to £80 - £120 per night for a family en suite. Guests staying for three nights or more from Sunday to Thursday enjoy reduced rates.
Prices include a freshly cooked breakfast, served each morning in the bright and sunny dining room. All dietary requirements are catered for given advanced notice. Midway House is completely non-smoking.
Guests are additionally welcome to relax in the resident's lounge by the widescreen TV, or browse from a wide selection of newspapers and literature.
Free private parking for up to 14 cars is available on-site and all visitor information and advice on the sights, attractions and other features of York is available from the resident owners of the establishment who have over 40 years experience of the famous city.
