23 St Marys is a Victorian period home built in an upmarket area of York in the 1890s. The area is surrounded by parkland, and yet is conveniently situated for the city centre. Long ago both this street and nearby Bootham were part of St Mary's Abbey.
All the rooms are individually decorated and are of varied sizes and shapes in keeping with a period home of this era. Tastefully decorated the hotel features single and double beds plus one four poster which may be booked subject to availability. The property has some hand painted furniture and several antique pieces. All the rooms at St.Marys have a private shower or bath. There is a living room for guests and Full English Breakfast is served in the Dining room.
